15 Skincare products that makes your skin happy

I am always exploring skincare and have options on hand. Some days are heavy duty, some days are quick and normal. And then there are the indulgent days.

As a woman in her 30’s, I have started investing in my skincare game and having options makes it easy to tackle different kinds of days.

These are the products on my counter these days. Feel free to check them out.

1. Farmacy Foaming Face Wash

I love the faint fragrance, and it feels so rich, making me feel really special.

2. Neostrata Enlighten

A blend of Alpine Plant Extracts, including Mallow, Peppermint, Lemon Balm and Cowslip, helps brighten and clarify the skin. This unique pearlescent creamy cleanser effectively removes oil and makeup, leaving skin healthy and refreshed.

3. Vichy Vitamin C Serum for Face

16% Vitamin C serum (L-Ascorbic acid) that visibly brightens and firms skin, evens skin tone and reduces the appearance of fine lines and dark spots.

I have no comments – I love this product! 100% recommend.

4. The Ordinary Multi-Antioxidant Radiance Serum

A daily antioxidant serum with 8 technologies that helps protect skin and boost radiance. Infused with a stabilized form of Vitamin C and ginseng, this antioxidant-rich serum visibly brightens dull skin, fades dark spots, and helps even out skin tone for a glowing, healthy complexion.

The brand is a no-brainer for me – simple language, not intimidating for a beginner skincare enthusiast

5. Clinique All About Eyes: Lightweight Eye Cream

This lightweight cream-gel brightening eye cream hydrates and illuminates.

Use this day and night eye cream twice a day, morning and night. With the ring finger, apply sparingly to the entire eye area using a gentle patting motion.

6. Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Eye Contour

Apply a pea-sized amount of the cream onto the metal applicator. Use the applicator to apply the cream above and below the eye. Gently massage the eye area from the inside outwards. Use your fingers to pat the eye area until the cream is fully absorbed. Limit usage to a maximum of 4 applications per day.

A very straightforward product for me – 100% reccommend

7. Clarins Extra-Firming Day Cream | All Skin Types

This firming anti-aging day cream is powered by Collagen Polypeptide & Niacinamide to visibly smooth, plump, contour, brighten and even skin tone. Protects against daily pollution. Targets signs of collagen breakdown: contour & lift saggy skin, smooth wrinkles + revitalize dull, uneven complexion.

I have finally accepted that I need the help! And this one delivers.

8. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 Skin Barrier Repair Cream

Cicaplast Balm B5+ is a multi-purpose healing ointment with Shea Butter, Glycerin, and Centella Asiatica (Madecassoside) that soothes, protects, and relieves dry, cracked, chapped skin exposed to chafing and dryness. Ideal for calming sensitive skin.

This is one of those products that I completely understand the hype around because it truly does work very well for dry, irritated skin areas. The texture is rich, soothing, and very protective without having a strong fragrance, which I appreciate because heavily scented skincare products usually irritate my skin immediately.

9. Uriage Eau Thermale Lip Balm

Ultra-soft lip balm with an invisible and non-oily film to relieve dry, chapped lips.

I blow through this so quickly – in part because I love it and also because it requires a lot of reapplication. Doesn’t “stick”. But it works (great for underneath lip colours, too) and is leaps and bounds better than most drugstore offerings.

10. LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask

A leave-on lip mask that delivers intense moisture and antioxidants while you sleep with Berry Fruit Complex, Murumuru seed and Shea butter.

I’m on my third jar of this lip sleeping mask, and it has become a permanent part of my nighttime routine. I have used other masks in the past, but this feels like an upgrade.

11. First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA

This fast-acting KP body scrub delivers the benefits of a chemical peel and microdermabrasion treatment in one. Glycolic and lactic acids at a combined level of 10% help loosen the skin’s top layer and decongest pores, while natural pumice buffing beads – not micro-plastic beads – whisk it all away.

If you are one of the lucky ones who do not have to deal with those little pesky bumps, please scroll past this one. But if you have had it with KP, you need this! I was at my wits’ end, and then I started using this once a week, and BOOM! my bumps are already lighter.

12. Live Clean Body Wash, Moisturizing Coconut Milk

This body wash is 98% plant-based, vegetarian, not tested on animals and free from parabens, sulphates, and harmful chemicals. 

All I have to say is you will smell delicious!! I just love it!

I used to have a men’s shower gel, you know, for days when you need that burst of happiness or wake you up. Or on days you were attacked by pesky mosquitoes on a hike. This one is a better choice, and I am in love.

14. Lubriderm Fragrance Free Daily Moisture Body Lotion

Allergy tested to be safe on even sensitive skin, the fragrance-free lotion hydrates without clogging pores; it gently hydrates dry skin on face, hands, and body to help restore your skin’s moisture barrier.

My ride or die skincare product since 2023. I love this one, and this will not be in stock in my house.

15. La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+MAX Triple Repair Moisturizing Body Cream

Repairing face & body moisturizer for dry skin. Formulated with Shea Butter & Niacinamide. Powered by Neurobioma™ provides 72HR Dry Skin Relief* and 24HR Itch Control**, and 48HR Hydration. 

This cream made it into my stack because I was looking for that extra nourishment for my skin on scrub days. Skin can feel a little depleted on days that you hit it with an exfoliant like the First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser. So this is not my everyday go-to – but for days when I feel like my skin could use some extra love!
